If you have any other money-saving tips, please feel free to stop by our Facebook page and share with us and our online community. We know that everyone appreciates a saved dollar, so stop by and share!

Research, research, research!

Before you go out looking for seeds or bulbs to plant – do some research! Certain plants need to be planted in specific soil, needs certain care and only thrives in one or two seasons. You don’t want to spend all of that money, only to find that it wasn’t the right time to plant them, or they needed to be planted in a different (sunnier or less sunny) area of the yard.

Plan it out!

Avoiding impulse buys is another way to save money. Oftentimes, when people start looking around at different products or items they want to add to their landscaping, they may buy before they plan. This can lead to problems. For example, not having a place to put the pieces or plants they bought, or buying the wrong things needed for the project. If you have a specific project in mind, give us a call – we can help determine which products you will need.

Test your soil!

A simple soil test will be able to tell you the pH of your soil, what your soil lacks and which type of plants are best for your yard. This will help you avoid wasting money on plants that will not grow in your soil.
